About Dr. Claire
Dr. Claire Erhart is a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist, specializing in hormone regulation, digestive complaints, and nervous system dysregulation. Additionally, she offers Holistic Pelvic Care™ as trained by Tami Kent for support with pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, urinary issues, and more.
Dr. Claire Erhart has always had a passion for nature and for medicine. Growing up in rural Connecticut, Claire has always found that the best medicine comes from time spent outside and barefoot. At the University of Vermont, she studied Natural Resources and Anthropology, though she has always had an interest in medicine and a desire to help others heal. Through her own healing journey, Claire has taken a deep interest in the mind-body-spirit connection, and aims to embody this within her practice.
She was brought to Portland to complete her studies at the National University of Natural Medicine, from which she graduated in June of 2021. She quickly developed a strong love for the big trees, rivers, and mountains of Oregon, which led her to settle down in the Columbia River Gorge.
When not working, you can find Claire in the garden or in the woods with her dog, Dennis. She enjoys doing crossword puzzles, finding new hikes, and driving on rural country roads.
My Philosophy
My practice is based upon the philosophy that physical, emotional, and spiritual health are deeply interconnected. Through our work together, we will work to address all three of these aspects of your health in order to optimize your sense of wellbeing. I strongly ascribe to the idea of “docere,” or doctor as teacher. My work is based not upon healing my patients, but on helping to empower them to embark on their own healing journey by providing support every step of the way.

Naturopathic Medicine
Licensed in the states of Oregon and Washington to order lab tests, and prescribe pharmaceuticals when necessary. With a strong emphasis on lifestyle changes, I also employ supplements, botanicals, and specialty testing in a conservative way.
Pelvic Floor Therapy
Certified in Holistic Pelvic Care™ by Tami Kent MSPT This technique combines internal manual therapy with visualization and breathing techniques to reduce symptoms and create whole body shifts, both physically mentally.
Acupuncture
With training in Classical Chinese Medicine, I offer acupuncture techniques such as needles, cupping, moxabustion, Chinese herbal formulas, and more.
